This represents a 47% increase in the total number of charging devices since February 2023. When switching to an electric vehicle, as well as installing your own convenient at home charger, you will want to consider the locations of rapid charging stations along the route of any extended journeys you regularly take. Depending on the charger type and power, a full charge can take as little as 30 minutes. Many chargers are situated at motorway service stations as well as at shops, restaurants, gyms and work places.
