Did you know, here at Duckworth Motor Group, we have our own on-site Bodyshop departments at both Market Rasen and Boston.

We offer SMART repairs, SMART stands for ‘small to medium area repair technology’. This requires specialist tools, materials and paints to blend the repair with the surrounding panel. This offers a quicker car repair solution.

SMART Repair is split up into 5 different categories:

  • The first one being paint repair where our qualified technicians will expertly colour match and repair the damage on your vehicle to the exact colour and paint finish.
  • The second is alloy wheel repair, this is where the repair service team will restore your alloys to perfect condition. To do this, they will sand down the damaged area and apply filler to the scrapes, then will then do an exact colour match to what your vehicle is. This then leaves a high gloss finish; this makes it look as good as new.
  • The SMART repair team also offer stone chip repairs which is where the team will cosmetically improve the stone chip using colour match technology to ensure that the vehicle remains as close to its original state as it can.
  • To further this, they then also offer dent repair which is where they will then opt for a “paintless dent removal” which is often a more cost-efficient solution. The skilled technicians in the workshop will be able to pinpoint to exact panel to remove the dint. This then restores the panel to its correct form.
  • Lastly, a key service within the workshop is the touch-up and polish. This guarantees the restoration of the vehicle to the perfect standard regardless of any damage initially. They will conduct a thorough assessment to determine to necessity of the touch up and polish, this benefits them when it comes to addressing imperfections, scratches and grime.

If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next most suitable offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure a suitable finance agreement for you that enables you to achieve your financial objectives. If you purchase a vehicle, in the majority of cases, we will receive a commission from your lender for introducing you to them which is either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you purchase.

Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
