Exterior
The 2021 F-TYPE has had a facelift from its ancestor whilst still embodying the F-TYPE’s award-winning design, evolving into a purer, more assertive expression of F-TYPE as we know it.
With the addition of super-slim pixel LED headlights seamlessly integrating into the new clamshell bonnet with the ‘liquid metal’ surface, the car visually looks wider and more dominant. Deployable door handles and air vents create a visually flush appearance to the sides of the car, too.
When taking a look at the rear of F-TYPE, there is an apparent dramatic presence thanks to the iconic rear haunches. Like the headlights, the rear lights have taken on a new slender appearance utilising the signature LED chicane introduced in the Jaguar I-PACE.
There is also the choice of the exclusive F-TYPE First Edition with Exterior Design Pack available for one model year only. The pack includes Black Contrast Roof, unique 20-inch wheels, and 12-way Windsor Leather Performance Seats with Monogram stitch.
Interior
The infamous Jaguar craftsmanship present in F-TYPE utilises luxury materials to create the most comfortable, driver-focussed interior.
Windsor leather and satin-finish Noble Chrome create the perfect synergy between traditional Jaguar craftsmanship and contemporary materials. Monogram stitching on the seats, door trims, headrests and centre console finisher provide subtle but elegant detailing throughout the interior.
Increased Performance
Synonymous to all Jaguar sportscars is the infamous roar of the engine. Furthermore, the distinctive crackle and pop sound whilst running has been meticulously tuned to suit each engine size.
The new F-TYPE sees the introduction of the new 450PS supercharged V8 models. The engines – 300PS turbocharged four-cylinder, 380PS supercharged V6 and 450PS and 575PS V8s allow for performance exploitation and driver engagement as well as featuring Active Sports Exhaust system. Innovative engine technologies ensure reduced CO2 performance whilst not diminishing performance.
The New F-TYPE R’s 575PS supercharged V8 has utilised Jaguar’s accrued learning from the limited edition 200mph Jaguar XE Special Vehicles Project 8, to enhance the chassis and intelligent all-wheel-drive system to provide outstanding driving performance while retaining Jaguar’s intrinsic tractability and usability. The impressive sprint to 60mph takes just 3.5 seconds.
F-TYPE’s impressive infotainment system ensures you are always connected to the outside world through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The 10″ Touchscreen allows you to ‘pinch and swipe’ your way around the navigation menu. Each journey is enriched with high-quality sound courtesy of the Meridian audio system.
The 12.3″ interactive driver display allows a range of different instruments to be utilised including a full 3D navigation map or an information panel. But for the true sports car enthusiast, a large central rev counter is the default mode to subtly portray performance potential.
