Lincolnshire Show: 2023

We had a fantastic time at The Lincolnshire Show last week – a huge thank you to everyone who came to visit us. Teams from Duckworth Market Rasen, Duckworth Boston and Duckworth Select & Isuzu at Kirton joined forces in scorching temperatures to show off more than 25 vehicles.

We are delighted to announce that through our Lego Defender raffle, we raised over £400 for The Butterfly Hospice in Boston. Congratulations to Mr. Clayton, the winner of Wednesday's draw, and Mrs. Middleton, the winner of Thursday's draw.

 

We are pleased to share that Mr. Bannister won the huge Fortnum & Mason Hamper, while Ms. Jones received the Duckworth Doggy Hamper for sharing a wonderful photo of her dogs enjoying time at our stand.

Being the lead sponsor of the show is always an honour. You may have noticed our fleet of 7 VIP vehicles transporting guests around the event. One customer left this amazing comment on our website:

“Many thanks for providing Courtesy Cars at the Lincolnshire Show. We used the service from and back to the car park. Your drivers were courteous and friendly. We couldn’t have coped without them!

Additionally, we participated in the Historical Vehicle Procession in the main ring on both afternoons, much to the delight of the sun-soaked audience. Our 3 classic Land Rovers joined steam engines, sports cards, a milk churn float and a Land Rover Fire Engine!

We are also thrilled to inform you that we were awarded The Perpetual Challenge Cup for the best stand in our category!

 

We can’t wait to do it all again next year. Dates for the show are Wednesday 19th & Thursday 20th June 2024.

Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
