The wait is over. As of 1st March 2021, you can become the proud owner of a new 21 plate registered vehicle with Duckworth Motor Group.
From the sporting luxury of the Jaguar F-TYPE to the adventure-loving Land Rover Defender and hard-working Isuzu D-MAX, all of your favourites are now available with a brand-new 21 registration plate.
Soon, motorists will once again be able to explore and venture to new locations, making this the perfect opportunity to click and collect or arrange the nationwide delivery of your brand-new vehicle.
When and why do registration plates change?
Registration plates are updated twice a year: once in March and once in September. Since the passing of the 1904 Motor Act, it’s been a legal requirement for all vehicles to have this unique ID.
In March, our number plates hold the last 2 digits of the year of registration, known as the ‘Age Identifier’. When new vehicles are manufactured in September, the ‘Age Identifier’ adds +50 years. This September’s, for example, will read ‘71’ as opposed to ‘21’.
Between the 1st March and the 31st August 2021 is your window to get a 21 plate registration.
